If you live in the Oxfordshire or West Berskhire and have your own transportation please send a CV, including references and a link to your showreel to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Unfortunately we are unable to respond to any other job vacancy or work experience requests at this time being but watch this space and thank you for taking the time to look at Distant Object Productions.
We develop strong relationships with experienced, qualified freelancers and other production companies and consultancies as well as drawing on our in-house team. This allows us to offer economies of scale and highly competitive rates to our clients.
We work with a personally selected team that demonstrates a bunch of qualities we like to see in one and all:
- Passion and enthusiasm count for practically everything. Sure you need genuine skills, experience and preferably qualifications but nothing is as contagious as enthusiasm. And you need to be humble too. Truly amazing people don't brag. They get on with it.
- If you chop and change, switch roles, multi-task, don't quite know what you want to do yet, that's fine with us. So long as you've got energy and excitement then it can be channelled. Pigeon holes are for pigeons.
- Detail - we love attention to detail. The devil is in it so they say, but it's what can make the difference between satisfactory and stunning.
- Simplicity - true genius resides there. So if you can keep it simple in an environment of ever increasing complexity we'd like to hear from you.
We work mainly on personal recommendation - it's the greatest form of advertising.
Please no recruitment agencies.
You're too expensive. And to be honest some of you have been a bit of a pain. We do occasionally work with recruiters, but they're ones that we've grown to like.
There are probably ways to make us your friends. But if you're any good you'd have figured them out anyway already.
