Ben is an award winning documentary cameraman and was recently nominated for an 'Emmy' for his coverage of the Georgia war in 2008. He's an outgoing and friendly professional with fifteen years experience in international news and documentary film making. He's also about 8 feet tall (or so he tells us).

Thriving on capturing beautiful and arresting images, Ben is used to working in harsh and dangerous conditions anywhere on the planet; from the Arctic Circle to the African Savannah. Ben is valued by colleagues for having a superb eye for pictures and composition. Travelling the world with his trusty camera slung on his shoulder he's always an integral member of the team.

Ben started work in commercials and short film production. He then won a coveted traineeship at ITN where he stayed for nine years before moving onto Sky News. Now working at Aljazeera International he is a senior multi-skilled Cameraman based in the UK. He shoots and edits cutting edge international news on a daily basis and is a highly skilled operator working with the latest broadcast technologies.
