Understanding High Blood Pressure

Documentary

Over 1.5 billion people worldwide are at increased risk of heart attacks and strokes because they have high blood pressure.

Information is widely available on the internet but is often confusing, conflicting or just incorrect. Despite efforts by health professionals most patients usually have large gaps in their knowledge. This project answered a need for a comprehensive, authoritative and easily digestible source of information.

Rock Music Rock Art

Documentary

'Rock Music, Rock Art' is a cultural exchange adventure that sets out to discover musical sounds of our earliest ancestors and fuse two very different music styles.

A group of contemporary western classical musicians and traditional Ugandan musicians journey in perilous canoes to a remote island in Lake Victoria to make music using the most elaborate prehistoric 'rock gongs' on the African continent.

To Bring a Smile

Documentary

BBC South 'Southern Eye' programme featuring an Oxford based Ugandan artist who journeys home to northern Uganda searching for a lost brother in the rebel torn district of Gulu.

"Eginja Eriyimba" tracks renowned British sculptor Peter Randall-Page to the stunning island of Lolui in Lake Victoria.

Capturing a creative adventure, this documentary delves into the effects that nature and the limits imposed by the expedition have on the artist's creativity.

InAndOutOfAfrica_FoundryPourIn Uganda, a derelict copper mine is to be re-invigorated by a charitable sculpture foundation supported by Britain’s leading bronze foundry.

Ugandan artists are being introduced to new materials and the chance to build their own bronze foundry.

Leading British artists join with Ugandan artists in a cultural and artistic exchange to promote positive developments in Africa.

The Lost Wax Process

The Lost Wax Technique is an ancient bronze casting process, demonstrated using a single artist's sculpture.

Dating 6,000 years, used by the ancient Egyptians, the Greeks, in Asian, African and many other cultures around the world, the process today has changed only in the technology used.

Commissioned by The Tate Britain in support of their Lynn Chadwick Retrospective exhibition.
